May Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Who are the ‘Blogging Friends’?   Until a few months ago, we were a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before.  Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper crafting we have created a fun new blog hop!

This month we are sharing retired items. There are many retired items I am sad to see go BUT there are so many new items that are just as awesome and lovely...so to keep this post short and sweet I am only featuring two stamp sets OR else we would be here all day:)

The first one just came out in the Occasions catalog in January. I really haven't got to use it much and was hoping to see it carry over. I still think I will hold on to this one for awhile. It's great for teacher gifts and cards:) I made a super cute desktop calendar for my kids' teachers for Valentines Day using the "apple of my eye" stamp...I shared it with my Facebook Group

Apple of My Eye

We made these cards at card class a couple months ago.

The second one I am sad to see go is the background stamp Swallowtail. This stamp makes some beautiful cards...I have used this to make very simple cards to very elegant and time consuming cards as well. This card is one of my favorites.

  2. Beautiful cards, Jessica! I love how fun and playful the first two are contrasted by that oh so elegant butterfly card. Thanks for sharing so many ideas!

  3. Wow, these are so amazing! I do not have either of these stamp sets. I really need some sets that are somewhat on the generic size. I love these. Your swallowtail card is lovely! I like how you stamped it on to the background paper.

  6. Great cards, Jessica! I'm with you; I've had the Swallowtail stamp since it first came out, and I think I'll be hanging onto it a while longer! I like how you stamped it on top of the DSP.
