March Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

It's hard to believe its March already! It's that busy BUSY time of year for us. Basketball is just about over and baseball has already started. Plus lots and lots of school activities and field trips. The next 3 months are going to fly by.

I am so excited to show you what I created for our Sale-a-bration theme hop. I CASEd a card straight from the Sale-a-bration brochure but then kept adding and adding tidbits to it. I loved creating with the Springtime foil DSP....so many different ways to add color. I added color with ink pads and aqua painters. The DSP is thick and a little glossy, it dries pretty quick and looks even more lovely in person. I love the way these turned out!

January Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year! I know we did:) Things have been crazy busy around {like always} but I am enjoying the couple weeks the kids have off of school to wind down and get ready for the next 6 months {which will be crazy busy}. We have had lots of family birthdays this month including two of my sons', turning 8 and 10...double digits!!!!

The kids have had the flu for the past week or so. It went straight down the line and all three got it...thankfully Ryan and I didn't get it and I'm not sure how we didn't! So the kids have done absolutely nothing for the past week and I am about to lose my mind BUT I guess the good thing about them getting it over break is they didn't miss school. I just wish it wasn't Christmas because my oldest was down all day on Christmas day at both Grandma's house and looked miserable. He said, "It was the worst Christmas ever"....so that was pretty sad to hear.

With all the craziness going on I have not ordered anything from the new Occasions catalog. I am hoping to later next week if I can narrow down my selection:) This month's theme is "Baby, It's Cold Outside". At first I wasn't sure if I had anything but I went searching my stamp sets and found the Christmas Cookie Cutter set with the little eskimo girl {super cute} and I have never used that particular stamp before so I was excited to come up with something.

December Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello Friends!!!! The last month of the Year....WOW!!! Who is ready for Christmas?! I know I am not!!! Not only do I have Christmas but I have two of my sons' birthdays this month, the 17th and 24th of December. Oh and on top of their birthdays we have several family members birthdays as well. A busy busy month ahead. I almost dropped out of the hop this month but as I was cooking dinner tonight I decided to open up the computer and push through all the chaos here at home. The yelling, fighting, whining, and craziness!

I remembered I haven't shared my swap cards I received from our team swap. So that's what I am sharing this month. Christmas swap cards!!!

Make it Monday

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Ryan and I had a last minute get-a-away in the Jeep up on the trail KIDFREE so that was extra nice. It was FUN and I can't wait to get back up there. Today was busy and the kids are winding down getting washed up and then bedtime. As usual I am multitasking and cannot wait for the crazies to get into bed:)

I am so excited to share toady's card. This was a creative challenge from a training group I am in and the sketch came from the catalog. I love recreating directly from the catalogs. I love going to the catalog for a sketch when I am having a creative block.

Make It Monday...on Tuesday!

Good Morning Friends! Well I totally spaced and forgot to publish my Make it Monday post for Monday!!!! So here it is on Tuesday! Last week my kids started school....WHOOHOOO! So we are trying to get back into the swing of things. I hope everyone had a great Monday!

Today's card was a team color challenge. I whipped this card together. This seems to be my go-to layout when I am in a hurry or can't think of anything else. Most of the time it works. It's simple and very easily duplicable.
