February Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello Friends!!! I am so excited to be back this month and we have a guest joining us...Tami White! December was quite hectic and I was unable to pre-order any of the new goodies from the Occasions catalog so I had to skip January's hop.

I was kinda stumped as to what I was going to do for the theme "Love". I didn't order the popular Sealed with Love Bundle {SUPER CUTE bundle by the way}. I have a couple sets that have love in them but I really wanted to do a watercolor card. I always have these "visions" in my head BUT most of the time my visions never turn out the way I want them to....like this one. I would have liked the colors to blend a little better. Out of the ones I did I liked this one the best.

I used Shimmery white cardstock {which I LOVE} and my Aqua painters to create the background. I initially wanted more layers but it was covering up the background that I wanted to show off. I love adding little nips of ribbon and twine.

Let's see what Jodi has made today!

I would to see some new friends in my Facebook Group!

  1. Jessica, I struggle with Valentine's themes too because I don't own very many sets, but I like the background on this and how you showed you can turn anything into a love theme! Hugs, Crystal
