Friday Rewind.

SCHOOL STARTS IN 6 DAYS! WHOOOHOOO!!!! #WHOSCOUNTING

Nothing exciting going on here. Just laying low getting ready for the madness to start next week when school starts. We will have baseball and school starting right about the same time. Then something else I will be starting in a couple weeks.... I will start watching my nephews 2 days a week. I guess you can say I will have a "job" now. They are ages 1 and 3 so it will make things really interesting around here, especially when it's time to pick up Cameron and Easton from school.

Over weekend we took a little trip to Barrett Lake Jeep Trail to do some four wheeling and camping. We planned this little trip a few weeks ago so I was ready and prepared to go. This was out first trip with the kids as a family.
This trail has been closed for the past 3 years or so there was lots of action and camping going on. The kids had a blast and we did to. It's very exhausting camping with the kids and never a time to relax, it would have been better if we didn't get to camp so late. Setting up in the dark is less than fun {10PM...we ran into a little troubles on the trail} and then packing up and leaving at 10am. That's what happens when Ryan has split days off and it will remain that way forever. And not to mention our packing space is very limited so we need to be careful with what we pack.

I was very thankful that we met a couple awesome families at the beginning of the trail. They also were taking their first trip as family with the kids. All the kids got along great and payed good together. They had all girls so it was perfect:)  This trail was harder than what I thought and there was a couple spots Ryan needed help and those families weren't there he would have made me drive while he directs me where to go.

Ryan was kind enough last night and took the boys to the driving range for a couple hours. I don't think he really got to hit any balls because he was too busy dealing the kids but I appreciated him taking them because I over the last few days of being with them all day long with no breaks has been kinda rough...no problem if your children are angels and listen and don't wrestle or rough house or are as quiet as mice. That 2 hours of silence with no one in the house did wonders. Now if I could only get more than 2 hours....I didn't know what to do. I cleaned the kitchen and put away laundry and then just sat here trying to think of what to do....and then they back!

Bentley decided he needed to pick the little watermelon we had growing in our garden. It only took like 2 months to get to the size of a softball and the little turd picked it. The garden isn't doing to great right now. I need some fertilizer. Once my tomatoes start turning red I will be happy but my bell peppers are not doing good at all:(

Monster Jam.

Every January Monster Jam comes to town, the kids look forward to it and cannot wait! They see and hear the commercials and know it's coming. This year was Bentley's first year. Ryan and I thought he would freak out with excitement but he shocked us and was so unimpressed by all of it. He was having an "off day". He loves monster trucks, loves playing with them and loves watching them on TV. He was actually a little pain in the butt that day. He threw several things including his cup and it rolled down the stairs onto the track where the trucks were and during intermission one of the crew members waved the cup up to see if it belonged to anyone....at least we got the cup back.

Cameron and Easton of course loved every minute of it. I looked over at Cameron several times and he was yelling with excitement and was so pumped up. We had pit passes so we were able to go down to the track before the show and get pictures with the drivers and check out the trucks up close. The kids were totally into getting their flags signed and pictures with all of them. But because we had pit passes it seemed we were there forever and waiting. Bentley was getting restless and all he cared about was waving the damn flag around which was all fine an dandy until someone came and sat in front of us. I mean it's ok if he whacks us with the flag but not the poor lady sitting right in front of us. We got these flags a couple years ago so we only had 2 and of course the one year we need another flag they are not selling them. So Bentley fought with his brothers over the flags. Easton was very good about sharing his. Although Bentley was having an "off day" he still loved it:)

The kids got some screen time while we were checking out the trucks during the Pit Pass time.

Disneyland Day Two.

On day 2 of Disneyland we were up bright an early and got to the park right when they opened. Today we went to California Adventure. If you ever go to Disneyland you HAVE to get a park hopper ticket and check out California Adventure.
Everyone kept telling us that a fast pass for the Cars ride is a must. So after we grabbed some Starbucks {yes Starbucks in Disneyland} and a quick picture with Mickey we headed to the fast pass line. It wasn't that long, it only took about 15 minutes. It's so worth waiting because then you get a specific time to come back and ride the ride without waiting in line for 2 hours. Plus if you have a small child who is not old enough for the ride you can get a riders swap pass thingy. So I took the kids first on the ride while Ryan waited, then once we were off Ryan got to go with the kids, so they get to go twice without waiting in line. It's so cool they have that. If they didn't the other parent would miss out on the ride or have to go by themselves.

***warning picture overload***

Isn't the cup so cute?! I just love it!!!!

The kids were super excited to see Mickey.

Cars land!!!! The coolest place EVER!!!!

The Cozy Cone served lots of different kinds of desserts. And this is where we got pictures taken with Lightening and Mater.

We were watching the cars go by on the Cars ride. It really is super neat-O.

Waiting for the 3-D Muppet show to start.

We were walking along and came across this. We were walking under the water ride and looks like it was just drawn real quick out of the water. Pretty cool.

Bentley was passed out when we met Donald.

Waiting in line for the Cars Ride.

They were all smiles until it started going faster and up little hills:)

So I went first on the ride with kids then Ryan wanted to go and dragged Cameron with him.You can tell by his facial expression he's not exactly thrilled.

The boys loved this ride!!! I think we went on it like 3 times. Good thing the line wasn't that long.

 Bentley really did love it!!!!

 Waiting for the Pixar Parade.

We had to wait for a long time to get a good spot. The kids were crazy but hey that's Okay. They had a lot to be excited about!

Cars Land looked awesome at night. Everything was bright with lights and lit up. So awesome!

Waiting for the World of Color show to start. It was quite interesting with the 3 crazies waiting forever for this show to start.

Easton getting a ride back to the hotel:)

Bentley passed out and didn't make it back to the hotel before falling asleep.

Passed out from a long day 2 of Disneyland.

Stay tuned and come back tomorrow for our final day at Disneyland.
