One More Baby Boy.

Once again today's post we are going back a few months. Almost 6 months ago we had a new addition to the family. No not me. My BIL and SIL had another baby BOY.
Yes folk's I said BOY. I don't know if the Mink's can make girls. I guess we will have to wait a long time to see if any of these boys can produce us a Granddaughter. I sure hope so. But then again I am sure my mother-in-law was thinking the same thing and she has 5 grandsons now.

Baby Grayson was born February 12, 2014 at 9:52pm. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 20.5 inches long. I cannot believe he 6 months old already. The little guy is finally starting to fill in a little. He was a little tiny dude. It always feel weird holding little babes since mine were ginormous.
So now big brother Landon has someone to torture and fight with on a daily basis. Maybe not now but very soon it will start to happen. But Jen isn't a rookie. She knows first hand how rowdy and wild kids can be......oh I can't wait for it:)

Easton loves to hold baby Grayson:) and on this day {which was July 4th} he got to feed him. He sat there so good and held the bottle....he is so sweet with babies.

This picture was taken just the other day. I snatched it from Jen's facebook page...hehehe.

Brothers....Landon and Grayson.

11 Months.

I CANNOT BELIEVE IN TWO WEEKS MY LITTLEST LITTLE MAN WILL BE ONE!!!

Well the little guy is standing all the time and is taking little baby steps. When I say baby steps I mean baby steps. Its so cute. He will take a couple then go right down to his butt. It won't be long until he is running all over the place.  He is getting braver when it comes to climbing on things. He has started to stand on his ride on and push toys, which is a little scary when you see it from a distance. He loves being outside when his brothers are playing. He just crawls around the back patio scratching his knees and toes and could care less.  And you know he is all boy just like his brothers when he is already getting into playing with the monster trucks. He loves to push them around and has already started trying to make the monster truck noise the boys do when are playing with them....you know the...VRRROOOM VROOM sounds:)

And the poor dude was sick freaking again. He just got over a little cold like a month ago {which he gave to me} and a couple weeks ago started again and we discovered he had an ear infection. So finally on the last day of taking his antibiotics {which is today, 10 days later} he is feeling better. He has been super cranky, like to the point where we just couldn't handle it anymore and we knew there was something going on.

Baby Shower and A New Baby.

Of course like most of my post these days this one is a little late.
Most of you probably already know who Cynthia is {the BFF}, well at the end of February her Mom hosted her baby shower. We {her mom, sis, a friend from college, and myself} all put our ideas together and threw her a fabulous shower. Her mom really went all out with the cute little table runners she made to match the color scheme to the violinist she hired to play as guest were arriving, this was really a nice touch. There were all sorts of yummy food and sweets for everyone. My favorite would have to be the stuffed mushrooms {which I am gonna have to get the recipe for because of course I already forgot it} and the cucumber little sandwiches Kristin made. We made the little tissue pom poms to hang {who doesn't love those?!} and Vicky found out that she could use see thru thread to sew together the cute little vellum circles to go with the pom poms { I think I am stealing this idea for Bentley's birthday party} Everything was perfect.

I made some yarn wrapped letters of the baby's name, which is now in the nursery:) And one of my new favorite decorations are the little flag pennants made from fabric. Super easy and so cute!

Her mom loves to quilt and sew. SO of course she went all out again making 3 different quilts and a ton of bibs and burb cloths.

Last Thursday morning, April 18th {a few days early} baby Beckett decided it was time to make an appearance.

Beckett William 8lb 8oz and 21 inches long.

I am so thrilled for Cynthia and Joe.Cynthia has wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember and she finally is. This little dude has the best mommy. She is going to be a great mom and both her and Joe will be great parents. I am so looking forward to those chats with her about mommyhood, the ups and downs, and everything in between. I can't wait to hear her stories about screaming crying babies and crazy toddlers running wild. I will finally be the listener for once, she has been listening to me for over 5 years now:)

Congratulations Cynthia & Joe...I love you both and couldn't be happier for you! XOXO

7 months.

Okay I just found this unfinished unpublished post....its a little late:)) this was typed up on Dec.23

Every time I do one of these post I seriously cannot believe Bentley is a month older. He is growing so fast and doing new stuff all the time. He is sitting up now all on his own and he is also pulling himself up on his knees to play with his toys. It's only a matter of time until he will be standing.
He is all over the house these days, even more so now. Before he would just hang out with me in the kitchen and roam around, well now he's gotta be where all the action is and always wants to see what his brothers are doing. I had to move the crib mattress down already and I am thinking I should have just moved it down all the way.
Oh and How could I forget......A couple weeks ago his bottom teeth finally started to break through! He's got the bottom two coming in. I am really hoping after those come he starts sleeping a little better. Even during nap time he has been a pain in the butt. He is still taking some of his naps in the swing. Both Cameron and Easton hated the swing, so its nice to finally really get to use it. I feel like we are finally getting our monies worth out of it:))

Last week we finally had his infant pictures taken. And we were lucky to get a picture of all three.

Seriously love these boys so much!!!!

6 Months.

This little guy is just growing too damn fast. I cannot believe Bentley is already almost 7 months old! Sometimes I wish he would just slow down and stop growing just for a little bit. He is fast moving now too. He is crawling all over and gets faster everyday. He is now wondering out of the living room into the kitchen and out of his bedroom across the hallway and into our room. And he can just about sit up on his own. Last night he was sitting up with no hands touching the floor for a few seconds. He is still such a good baby.
And still no damn teeth. I swear those damn things are never going to come in. Most of the time he is content playing and crawling around. He loves when the boys play with him and make him giggle and laugh. The night time sleep still isn't great but it's all good, I am used to it from the first two. Let's just hope he sleeps through the night sooner than they did:))

A couple weeks ago he had his 6 month check-up. He is the smaller one out of three boys. He is a growing healthy baby. He weighs almost 19lbs and is 28 inches long. He still has that damn green, gooey, crusty, eye. I am still hoping it goes away on its own. Right now he is just getting over a little cold. We all had little colds so he was bound to get it sooner or later. It never really seemed to bother him, he had a runny nose and a cough. The little cough was so sad to hear. It seems to be fading....thank goodness.

Just like his brothers, he LOVES his blanket!!!

5 Months.

Once again....story of my life here in bloggy land, this post is a month late.

This little boy is growing so fast and getting so BIG. Why do they have to grow so fast?! They seriously are like weeds....they just keep growing and growing!!!

Bentley is still a super good baby but his sleeping at night is still sucks. I am hoping that turns around once he cuts those damn teeth.  It looks like he is pretty close so we shall see. Most of the time he is just cool and calm chilling rolling around on the floor or sitting in his little saucer {which looks like he is getting a little long for these days}. He has is 6 month check up at the end of this month and hopefully I will not wait so long to post that 6 month update:)
He's been schooching for a awhile now but finally is getting on his knees and moving a little. It's so cute seeing him try to crawl and get something he really wants, like the cell phone or remote, he gets so excited and moves quick for a little one learning to crawl. He gets up on his knees and rocks a little and is even trying to sit himself up. And he has pretty much mastered all the Gerber 1st foods and now we have moved to the 2nd foods and that will give him some new ones to try.
He is starting to outgrow all his 6-9 month clothes and is now wearing mostly 12 months. He is going to need some new PJ's like real soon. He is busting out of them!!! Almost every morning I go in after he's awake and his legs have busted open the snaps. Maybe I can find a super good deal on black Friday {if i decide to go out}.

3D Pics vs. Newbie Pics.

Okay...I hope none of you are getting tired of seeing sweet baby boy. I wanted to compare the 3D pictures we had taken at 30 weeks to some newbie pictures. I think they look pretty similar. His little chubby cheeks and squishy little lips.....oh and his cute little chin all look the same.  His lips still look like when he's sleeping....so cute.
I think these 3D pictures are pretty darn cool and I wish I would have done it with Cameron and Easton as well.

So what do you think? Do they look similar?

3 months.

Seriously where in the hell did the last 3 months go?! Someone please tell me!!!!

I cannot believe this little cutie is 12 weeks old!

He has officially stolen my heart.

He is the sweetest baby ever. He sleeps pretty much all night, only waking usually once. He is totally giggling, smiling, and talking {well baby talk of course}. He is just the cutest! I cannot get enough of him.
It actually hasn't been that hard adjusting to three kids, much easier than I thought it be. Don't get me wrong...it's totally crazy around here.....but it's because of Bentley that its much easier. He's been in a little routine now for a couple of months, which helps so much.
He is almost rolling over, he gets stuck on his side and can't make it all the way over. He's pretty good at scooting around in circles on his back and tummy. Oh....but he's totally lazy when it comes to tummy time, just scoots around in circles and doesn't lift his head much. I think sometimes he might fall asleep during tummy time. He is doing this new thing where he sucks his little fingers while falling asleep. If you follow me on instagram you may have seen a picture.

And he is finally starting to open those little fists and grabbing stuff....so cute when he does.
I love this picture for whatever reason, his little grip is so tight:)

Tomorrow night is going to be my first night away from this little guy.....**tears** We are going to a baseball game with some friends. It will be nice to get away and have adult time with no kiddos but that doesn't mean I won't miss this precious little face. He will be in good hands so I know there is no need to worry:)

My Must Have Baby Items.

Here are some of my favorite baby items. This time around I have discovered a couple items that have seriously been lifesavers for me and I only wish I had them around with the first two babes. These are simply my personal opinions and my opinions only.

One thing that has seriously been my number one item with Bentley is the Fisher Price Rock N Play Sleeper. It's a hammock thingy the baby can sleep in all night and hang out in it all day, especially when they are newbies and they aren't moving around yet. It's lightweight and easy to carry around from room to room. This time with Bentley I never even used our bassinet. The bassinet is a lot bigger and bulky and the baby lays flat, the rock n play is inclined so the baby isn't laying flat on their backs. And at night I can see Bentley, nothing obstructs my view of him and I can see him perfectly. I highly recommend this instead of a bassinet. Another great thing about it is the weight limit is 25 lbs! The weight limit on our bassinet is 15lbs. Easton had out grown the bassinet before he was 2 months old and had to move into his crib, the bassinet was tilting sideways because he was so heavy:)

Please don't worry my sweet baby boy was not suffocating and could breath just fine:)

Sleeping so peacefully.  I have a ton of pictures like this one where he is sound to sleep like a sweet angel.

Another item I am loving the third time around is the Moby Wrap. With Cameron I bought a cheapo Jeep carrier and both Cameron and Easton were not fans of it. It was hard for them to get comfy and it was uncomfortable for me as well. I barely used it with Easton, probably only a couple of times.

So this time I wanted to try the Moby. At first I always hated the wraps, they kinda freaked me out, like the baby is going to fall out or something. I read about it and asked around and decided to give it a try and I love it! It is a little intimidating at first because it's this long ass piece of fabric and I was like WTF is this?! But after practicing a few times I got the hang of it and both Bentley and I love it. He almost always falls asleep in it. When he is cranky, fussy, and wants to be held I just get out the Moby and wrap him up in it. It's nice when I am trying to get stuff done around the house. And it never fails right when I am trying to do something is when he decides to get cranky. It does get a little hot and sweaty if your outside in the 100 degree heat. I mostly use it when I am indoors.

My favorite receiving blanket is by Swaddle Designs...Ultimate Receiving Blanket. We got this as a gift when Cameron was born. All the other receiving blankets out there were never large enough to wrap up my boys. Maybe a 6 pound baby but not my 10 pound babies. With Cameron I used the Swaddle Me blankets more but Easton couldn't stand his arms being wrapped up and glued to him and this blanket was just perfect, his arms could be loose and free while the rest of him was all snug. And there is a little tag that tells you how to swaddle your babe just in case you forget:)
I always have this blanket in the Rock N Play so when I lay Bentley down and that way I can just wrap up him up when and if he gets chilly from the air conditioner. The Ultimate Receiving blanket is 42X42 inches where as most other blankets are 30x30 or 30x40. I like to use the Gerber receiving blankets for burp clothes. They are perfect when folded in half and draped over your shoulder. It covers almost the whole shoulder area so when baby spits up your covered on the front side and back side:)

After three babies I cannot tell you how many bottles I have tried. With both Cameron and Easton I tried several different brands and hated them all. My biggest complaint was they leaked all over. Tommee Tippee came out right after Easton was born. A couple of my friends tried and loved them, so I decided to give them a try. So far so good. The nipple can get a little inverted and causes the baby to drool a little but that's an easy fix.

These are just some of my favorites and I don't think I could live without any of them.
What are your favorite baby items? What was a lifesaver for you?
