April Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Happy April and Happy Spring! It went from 55-80 degrees in like 2 days here in Northern California. Pure craziness!!! I think I may have even got a little red from the sun out at my kiddos baseball games yesterday. Spring break is over and my crazy kids are headed back to school on Monday....Thank goodness!!! I had a photoshoot last night and boy were the mosquitoes out in full force. I keep forgetting to put the spray in the car to have handy at baseball and my sunset photo shoots...MUST remember to do that!!!

So this month's theme is to CASE another member of our hop. I cased Libby Fens. I only CASEd her layout. This was such a hard decision for me, as is everything, so I made it a little easier on myself and just chose a layout from last month's hop. I really wanted to use a set that I hadn't used in months, a set that I have forgotten about {which is actually a lot} I used Life Me Up...love this set so much! I really don't and haven't used it much at all. My next two monthly classes will focus on items and sets retiring. We will be finding that out soon! I'm really hoping this set isn't on that list!

March Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

It's hard to believe its March already! It's that busy BUSY time of year for us. Basketball is just about over and baseball has already started. Plus lots and lots of school activities and field trips. The next 3 months are going to fly by.

I am so excited to show you what I created for our Sale-a-bration theme hop. I CASEd a card straight from the Sale-a-bration brochure but then kept adding and adding tidbits to it. I loved creating with the Springtime foil DSP....so many different ways to add color. I added color with ink pads and aqua painters. The DSP is thick and a little glossy, it dries pretty quick and looks even more lovely in person. I love the way these turned out!

January Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year! I know we did:) Things have been crazy busy around {like always} but I am enjoying the couple weeks the kids have off of school to wind down and get ready for the next 6 months {which will be crazy busy}. We have had lots of family birthdays this month including two of my sons', turning 8 and 10...double digits!!!!

The kids have had the flu for the past week or so. It went straight down the line and all three got it...thankfully Ryan and I didn't get it and I'm not sure how we didn't! So the kids have done absolutely nothing for the past week and I am about to lose my mind BUT I guess the good thing about them getting it over break is they didn't miss school. I just wish it wasn't Christmas because my oldest was down all day on Christmas day at both Grandma's house and looked miserable. He said, "It was the worst Christmas ever"....so that was pretty sad to hear.

With all the craziness going on I have not ordered anything from the new Occasions catalog. I am hoping to later next week if I can narrow down my selection:) This month's theme is "Baby, It's Cold Outside". At first I wasn't sure if I had anything but I went searching my stamp sets and found the Christmas Cookie Cutter set with the little eskimo girl {super cute} and I have never used that particular stamp before so I was excited to come up with something.

November Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Happy November! WOW!!! It's almost the end of the year! Can you believe it?! I am amazed each year how fast it flies by!!! I am so happy to be back! Once again I fell off the face of the earth:) Life is crazy as you all know! This months blog hop theme is Thanksgiving/Fall and this month we have some newbies joining us...YAY for new fiends!!!!

September Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello Friends! WOW! September already! The Summer break with the kiddos flew by and we are just finishing up week 3 of the school year and even that has gone by pretty darn quick. Baseball has started up for the Fall so we are back to being crazy busy.

I am super excited to share this post with you!!! This month's theme is the Holiday Catalog. It goes LIVE today September 1. Lots and LOTS of awesome, super cute, adorable new products. August Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Happy August! Each month I do these posts and it's amazing to me how fast the weeks go by. The kids start school next week and we are back to being crazy. We are enjoying the last few days of summer break relaxing, swimming and trying to stay cool. Today is for sure toasty Tuesday....it's suppose to be 106!!! Tomorrow and Thursday we are spending the day swimming so hopefully that will wear the kids out and the pass out at bedtime. We are starting earlier bedtime today so that should be fun considering it's not completely dark until about 9:00 or so...UGH!!!!

This month's theme is our favorite things....and right now I'm loving the Wood Words bundle and to be honest I really haven't done much with it yet. I have yet to make a wood crate using the die. I have had some projects around the house and haven't had much time for creating or crafting. There is always something going on. But the hop this month forced me to create something even if it was fast and quick. Ive also been trying to do a make it Monday post every Monday. Those usually don't post until late Monday night.

I got the inspiration for these cards from a fellow demonstrator Valerie Moody. I am even thinking of offering these in an upcoming class. I do have a card class scheduled for next weekend August 6 so maybe {wink wink} these will pop up there.
