September Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello Friends! WOW! September already! The Summer break with the kiddos flew by and we are just finishing up week 3 of the school year and even that has gone by pretty darn quick. Baseball has started up for the Fall so we are back to being crazy busy.

I am super excited to share this post with you!!! This month's theme is the Holiday Catalog. It goes LIVE today September 1. Lots and LOTS of awesome, super cute, adorable new products. I joined a swap with my team so I will be sharing my swap card along with 3 others. I hope you take a look at the new catalog and get some inspiration from these cards.

This is my swap I made! I love it! It took me forever to come up with it and wasn't happy with anything. I have another card I will be sharing on Monday with this new set...Cheers!

Simple and super cute!

Make it Monday.

Good Morning! Well today I have a few extra minutes before I need to leave the house. Easton has a field trip so he has an adjusted day so Cameron went to school with our neighbor friends that way Bentley is at my grandma's house for an hour less. He's going to be there all day so it makes me feel a little better dropping him off an hour later.

This card I made last weekend but I never made it around to posting it. This is a sketch challenge from Fab Friday Challenge Blog. I have this Love Blossoms DSP paper stack I was trying to figure out what to do with it since it's more Valentine themed and Valentine's Day is long gone now. I love this sketch! Easy and simple but still super cute (my favorite).

Here is the sketch

I hope you like my card on this Make it Monday. Come back tomorrow to check out my craft space for the March Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

I hope everyone has an awesome Monday...I am headed to see Curious George with about 50 something kindergarteners:)

FREE Shipping!!!

This week only Stampin' Up! is offering FREE shipping until Friday. This deal only happens once a year and no minimum purchase is required! That's almost the best part. It's a great time to stock up on some supplies or even start something new and give papercrafting a try. If you place an online order before the free shipping deal ends I will mail you all 4 cards from Sunday's card class for FREE if you place a minimum order of $25.

When you check out use hostess code: XCWE4K34, make sure you use that code so you can receive Sunday's cards for FREE! They will be mailed directly to you and fully assembled.

Now would be a great time to stock up on those 2013-2015 in-color items that will be gone come a month or so. The new catalog release date is slowly approaching {not until June} but what happens before then is the in-colors that are going away start to sell out. So if your in need of re-inkers or Stampin' write markers and even paper...GET IT NOW!  I am sad to see these colors going. I LOVE them all. Even I will be ordering some re-inkers and card stock:)

I suggest for the newbies out there to give the Project Life a try. I recent have started to do more memory keeping and it's all thanks to the Project Life style of memory keeping. We offer a few different card kits in the annual catalog and with this FREE shipping deal you really can't pass up the deal to try something new.

Make it Monday.

Today's Make it Monday comes from several different samples I have seen and I finally found a website in the US that sells these little mini calendars, Taylored Expressions. I have been wanting to make these little calendars for forever now. When I finally found the mini calendars I ordered them right away. I am hoping to get a few different designs made up and give my AWESOME customers. I only have a handful of customers and appreciate them so much so I thought a little desktop calendar would be a nice little something extra for them.

The template I used for the calendar I got from Diane Barnes, a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I think the calendars she used are just a tad bit smaller than the ones I have. Mine didn't exactly turn out how I had pictured {nothing ever comes out how I picture it}. The flower I wanted to use was way too big for the area I had to work with. So this is what I came up with. They are very easy and simple to make so I can make up several in no time. I think the next one I will try using the owl punch:)

Bentley was shining one of his little finger lights on this one and he thought that was sooo funny since I was trying to take a picture.

Here are the items I used:

Make it Monday.

Today I am going to try something new. I am going to start posting a cute little project, card, scrapbook, or something every Monday....Calling it "Make it Monday". I hope you will follow along every Monday for some inspiration to get your craft on.

This cute little card is made with the Kind Koala stamp from the new annual catalog by Stampin' Up! I am so in love with this stamp. This little guy is so CUTE, color him in with the new blendabilities markers and he's even cuter. I used crumb cake to color him AND I cannot wait to try smoky slate:)
