Friday Rewind.

Well once again it seems like awhile since my last Friday Rewind....Kinda slacking!!!

Lots of stuff going on over here in the CRAZY house. Lots of baseball, field trips, and other random happenings. Those dang kids sure do keep us quite busy!

A couple weeks ago we took our annual trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. This is the pumpkin farm Ryan grew up going to when he was a kid, his Grandparents lived here. It's in a small little town called Wheatland. It's much different from what he remembers as a kid. It's much more touristy and commercialized now. We started going there Cameron's first Halloween and have been there every year since.

I know I must have a better picture out of the 5 or so I took of this pose where they all are looking.....Can't they all just look at me!

Kinda blurry...Easton and Ryan went on the zipline. Easton says, " That was so awesome...it almost blew my mind off!" Love that kid. He comes up with funniest things to say.

So after we went as a family the following week I went to the same pumpkin farm with Cameron's class then 2 days after Cameron's field trip Easton had his field trip to a different pumpkin. So in 6 days I went to 3 pumpkin farms and now have 9 pumpkins:)

The training wheels finally came off.

This was Ryan trying to show Easton how to steer...HAHA

He was totally doing it all by himself but wouldn't get very far. He gets off balance and scared.

We had a wedding a couple weeks ago.......

Then the next day I had a craft fair. It went okay. I think the scattered rain showers scared people away. Here is how my area was set-up. I am thinking of doing another one mid-November...we will see. Lot's happening between now and then.

And it rained 3 different times....out of all the days it could have rained..UGH!

We had to get dog food for Mattie and Bentley had to make a pit stop to see the cats, the birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish.

Cameron lost another tooth earlier in the week. He lost one a couple weeks ago in his sleep. He woke up in the middle of the night in a panic because he couldn't find it....we found it and all was good:)

Easton is rooting for the Royals in the World Series. He was on the Royals both years he played tee ball....so he was very excited to see them on TV playing for the championship.

I walked the boys to our friends that live right behind us for a pumpkin carving contest earlier this afternoon. They had a blast and I so happy they can finally carve their own pumpkins. When we carved ours as a family last night Cameron was so serious and very much so into it.

This is dangerous to have around....

Love candy corn and I will be happy to see this disappear from the store shelfs...although I might just have to go out and grab one last bag tomorrow:)

Make it Monday.

Today I am going to share the measurements and picture tutorial for the cute little frankenstein pocketbac holders I shared almost month ago on the Blogging Friends Blog Hop. It's super easy and takes almost no time at all once you have everything cut and scored. I got the original idea from Erica Cerwin but had to change the measurements of her box to fit the new PocketBac from Bath and Body Works, it's now a little shorter and fatter than before. You can make these cute little holders for any holiday. I am planning on giving these to the boys' teachers in a little goodie basket for Halloween. I made up several for the craft fair I did and surprisingly they weren't too popular so I have a few extras laying around.

 Start with a piece of cardstock 2 1/2 X 10 3/4
Scoring at: 1/2, 1 3/4, 2 3/4, 4, 6 3/4, 8 inches
Punch 2 whisper white circle with 3/4" circle punch
Punch 2 basic black circles with 1/2" circle punch
Punch 1 Cucumber Crush 1/2" circle and sponge it with the Cucumber Crush.

Next fold on all your score lines then take an oval punch and punch just right above your 1/2" score line and it's ok to even punch on the line a little like I did in the above picture.

Fold up the cardstock and adhere adhesive to the backside of the 1/2" side and your going to fold up the opposite side and adhere to it.

Then for the hair you will need a piece of basic black 1 X 2 1/2" and just cut little V's across. Adhere the hair and eyes and draw the little stitches and mouth however you wish. Then wrap some whisper white bakers twine around the bottom a couple times and tuck the cardstock cover in.

And please let me know if you have questions on my instructions....not sure I explained it so clearly.

I had to fussy cut out the little bottles but it was worth it...I love the way it turned out. Alrighty I am practically falling asleep as I type this up. I hope you all get a little inspiration from my card

Friday Rewind.

I cannot believe we are already in the month of October! As usual lots of baseball and school events going on. This week's events were cut a little short. Easton and Bentley both got sick early Thursday morning so Easton missed school and therefore he missed his baseball game too. We decided to keep Cameron home from school as well since both Easton and Bentley threw up. It was a pretty mellow day. Easton was running a fever so he pretty much just slept all day and Bentley was super mellow and passed out on the couch.

Here is Bentley passed out...I will spare you the puke pictures.

Easton went all day Thursday without puking and what does he do at 7pm...yes...you guessed it....he threw up! He missed the field trip today....I think I was more bummed than he was. I missed my first field trip. I like going to see the kid plays and we were going to the B Street Theater downtown, That's OK because Cameron's class is going at the end of the month and I am almost certain I will be going to that. Easton had a couple issues this morning with his tummy but never complained again and he hasn't had a fever since last night so I think he's good now. I guess it was just a little 24 hour bug. Hoping it's all gone and no one else gets it.

I have been busy trying to get ready for an upcoming craft fair I am doing next weekend. I am trying to make lots of cutesy little treat holders for Halloween....although like always I am running out of time. I also need to hit up some thrift stores and antique shops for some display items to help my space look more cute! I can never find what I am looking for...drives me nuts!

I am still waiting for the weather to get cool around here. It was freaking HOT today! I am tired of the heat and tired of sweating anytime I go anywhere. I also tired of running the air conditioner! It's still going to be in the high 80's for the next week and I think today was in the 90's....UGH!!!!

I finally started my volunteering in Easton's classroom this week. He was super excited, he has been asking like everyday since I started in Cameron's classroom. I get to do Art/Easel time with the kids every Monday. I can also make up my own art crafty activity. I am looking forward to it, the kids at this age are so cute and of course there was a long line the first day because they were all so excited to paint. There was a lot of mixing colors going on and a lot of brown paint. I think next week I am going to encourage them to paint pumpkins so they can decorate and hung up at home:) We shall see how that goes.

We have two baseball games today and Sunday I have my monthly card class. Our Saturdays are pretty much consumed with baseball and especially since all Cameron's Saturday games are at like 5:30...they even have a game scheduled at 5:30 on freaking Halloween..as if anyone will be going!!! What idiot schedule that?!
Cameron got player of the game on Monday....I missed the entire game because Easton had practice and by the time we got there it was over. Then on Tuesday I missed Easton's game because it was my day to work in the snack bar, I am hoping Bentley will be good today so I can watch the games:)

Last week we went to check out the Bass Pro Shop. It's Huge and has everything! The kids loved it!

This makes Ryan so very HAPPY!!!! Betty Crocker brought back the Rainbow Chip frosting.

This kid loves to eat Peanut Butter by the spoonfuls....I guess he gets that from me.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!!

Make it Monday.

I have a video tutorial for you all today.....YAY!!! Finally!!! This is only my second one and I still have no clue what I am doing in iMovie when editing and trying to make it look "good".  I really need to get into the Apple Store and take a class.

I did this video one early morning last week before the kids woke up and it was still dark out so the lighting in the room is just absolutely horrible BUT I couldn't wait any longer to show you how awesome this technique is. Who knows when I would have an empty house to do it so bad lighting it is...sorry.

I cannot wait to try this technique on more cards and make my own project life cards using it. This would be an easy WOW affect to add to your pages.

I hope you learned something new and get some inspiration and give this a try:) Hoping my next video looks a little nicer and not so dark and shadowy {is that even a word?!}.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

Welcome to the first ever "Blogging Friends Blog Hop"

Up until one month ago we were a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada whom had never met before.  Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of papercrafting we have created a fun new blog hop.  Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created

I am super excited to be part of my first ever blog hop!!! This is the perfect kind of blog hop for me....it's only once a month and I felt this was something I could totally do and commit to. I chose to share a couple cards and a little hand sanitizer holder for my projects today. I am making a bunch of the little hand sanitizer holders for my upcoming craft fair in a couple weeks....Aren't they just so cute?!

I got inspiration for this cute little box to hold the Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer from Erica Cerwin. I had to change the measurements so the new shape of the bottle would fit a little better.

My spider web doilies were on backorder and took what seemed like forever to get. I had several unfinished projects just laying around waiting for the doilies to arrive. I still haven't gotten them all attached to my projects.
