December Blogging Friends Blog Hop

I am so excited for this month! I LOVE Christmas! And we have Brian King joining us this month...SUPER EXCITING! My life cannot get any busier right now, I am sure all of you are just as busy. My older boys both have birthday's in the month of December, I am sure you've seen that mentioned before:) Plus we have other family birthdays in December and my Husbands birthday the first week of January and 2 nephews and a niece with January birthday as well. It's a busy time of year. Oh and we will have twin nieces born sometime this month as well!!!!

Okay this month I chose to do a couple super easy simple and very easy duplicatable cards. I whipped these up in no time and I am thinking I might even use them in class this weekend. Yes I haven't even designed cards for card class yet!

I hope you like my easy super simple cards. Lets see what Jodi has for us this time around.

November Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Busy crazy times going on over here! I cannot believe It's November! Not much time until Christmas and birthdays. The weather here has definitely turned over the last couple weeks, which is unusual for us here in Northern California. I just heard on the news that this is the rainiest October in like 60 years. Usually it's 100 degrees still towards the end of the month. Every year we go to the pumpkin patch it's always blistering HOT but this year it was perfect Fall weather.

This month's theme was to create something using Lovely as a Tree stamp set....well I do not have this set! I know I must be the only Demonstrator without it! I don't even have any "tree" sets. I wasn't going to participate but then my fellow hoppers here gave me some suggestions and then I was mentally going through all my sets and remembered I have Sprinkles of Life which has that cut little tree. So BAM! I had a tree and had to get to work considering I wasn't planning on participating so therefore needed to make time to create.

Here is what I came up with....I hope you like it!

October Blogging Friends Blog Hop

WOW!!! It's already October! I cannot believe how fast these last few months have just blown by. My Christmas to do list is slowly approaching and there is no time to get an early start on any of it. Two of my boys' birthdays are in December so it gets a little crazy around here. SO let the craziness begin!!!

This month's hop theme is anything NEW from the Holiday Catalog....since it's October I deduced to share the cards we made at last card class. I just love these little cookie cutter guys so much! And the Christmas ones are just as cute.

This is not my card design.....I CASED this layout from Erica Cerwin at Pink Buckaroo Designs {she's one of my favorite Demos}

I cannot wait to create some scrapbook pages using this set. I have so many Halloween photos to scrapbook and these little guys will be super cute on my pages!

Now lets see what Jodi has created for us:)

September Blogging Friends Blog Hop.

WOW!!!! I can't believe its been a year since we started this Blog Hop!!! This month to help us celebrate we have a special guest....Shellie!!! Whoohooo!!!
So this months theme will be celebration in honor of our one year birthday of doing this blog hop. My projects this month are simple {as always}, cute, and very duplicatable. I used the "lets celebrate" stamp on both my card from the Balloon Celebration set.
I am loving the watercoloring technique right now and just made a similar card in card class last week. It's so easy. I cannot wait to start designing this months class using the halloween cookie cutter set available in the new Holiday Catalog.
I hope you enjoy my projects this month:)

I watercolored on shimmery white cardstock

August Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Well...here we are another month has past and a new one is beginning. This month's blog hop theme is Taste of the Tropics ....flamingo’s, pineapples, ocean and sunshine. I recently got the new Pineapple background stamp so I decided to center my projects around this awesome pineapple stamp. I created the while Hello card and then I was going to do a scrapbook page but then decided to get out my heat gun and do some embossing and that's when I did the black, copper, and gold pineapples. LOVE the Pineapple right now. I hope you enjoy my projects this month!

Maui.

Ryan and I were in paradise for a week. And we were there with no KIDS. A week. A whole week! Need I say more. It was relaxing, beautiful, and so awesome.
It was quite crazy leading up this awesome vacation. The crazy busy school year was just ending {we left the day after the last day of school}, we had just went camping on the holiday weekend {a week before we left}, baseball season was still going on, I had just went on Easton's overnight field trip a week before we left and 2 days before we went camping.....needless to say we needed this vacation. We needed this vacation for our sanity. We needed this vacation for us...for our 10 year anniversary!

Everyone asked us what we did while we were there....our answer...nothing! We relaxed! We did things on our time and our schedule....it was wonderful! There was only one thing we had planned and that was for Ryan to golf at The Plantation Course in Kapalua. Other than the golf we had nothing planned, that's the way we wanted it. When we were there 10 years ago on our honeymoon we did tourist activities and we didn't want none of this time.

Photo overload ahead!

Whoohoooo...We made it!!!!

Having some drinks while we wait for our room.

This road we called the Road of Death. We took a drive one day and the highway turned into a one lane road....like seriously a one lane road with no where to pull over, super windy, and with hello tall brush. It was just a tad bit scary.

But the road of death eventually brought us here....an awesome little swimming hole!

Love all the bright colorful flowers and scenery...everything was lush and so green!

This was on our hotel balcony.....this partial ocean view was just fine with us.

***WARNING...GOLF PICTURES OVERLOAD*** With views like these it was hard not to take a million photos.

The doors that open up to the First hole.

 Breakfast at the Plantation House.

 Yummy!

Sunset at the Kapalua Plantation Course Restaurant.

Sunset on Kaanapali Beach

This made me a little nervous when Ryan brought the phone out in the water...eeeeekkkk!

Our Hotel had a walk up bar about 5 feet from the beach...Room Charge PLEASE!

FaceTime with the boys at the beach...they thought that was pretty cool.

About the second day or so we bought these little plastic cups to take our booze down to the beach...can you guess what mine is filled with?!

The wind was blowing so bad it was pelting us in the face.

We couldn't take any more of the blowing sand so we moved to the pool.

Happy Hour is the place to be!

A mom of boys will always find hot wheels/matchbox cars in the bottom of a bag.

We were waking up so early coming down to Lahaina was awesome because there was no one around and we scored on front row parking.

The streets of Lahaina.

After a couple days of searching for some "good" coffee we finally found Bad Ass and we drove the super far 3 miles every morning to Lahaina to get a fresh cup.

While walking around Lahaina we would walk past this every day...so true this is!

Ryan's favorite meal the entire week, he couldn't stop talking about it.

Oh and I found a lego dude in my purse...only a mom of boys!

CHEERS TO A WONDERFUL VACATION! We had such an awesome trip and cannot wait to go back!

I love him! Happy 10 year Anniversary to US!
