Super Yummy Gooey Cheese Bread.

I have been meaning to post this for awhile now. It's so good I had to share it with you all. I got this recipe from one of my favorite blogs, So Wonderful, So Marvelous. I have already made it a few times, Ryan and the boys love it!!!!! I call my version the Gooey Cheese Bread.

1 loaf of Italian bread or sourdough
1 stick butter
2 cloves of garlic {1 heaping teaspoon of the pre-minced stuff}
2 teaspoons of poppy seeds
16 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice the loaf length wise about 3 times, then slice in thick slices width wise and you will have big chunky squares. Do not slice all the way through.

Put butter, poppy seeds, and garlic in a microwaveable bowl and heat until butter is melted. Stir.
Then your going to stuff all that cheese between each and every slice.
Then pour the butter mixture all over the top. Cover and bake 10-15 minutes, then bake for another 10 minutes uncovered.

Michelle calls her recipe, Emily's Party Bread {named after her friend Emily, who came up with it} click here to see Michelle's recipe.
Give it a try. It's super easy and super yummy.

Saturday Sweetness.

These are the easiest peanut butter cookies you will ever make, heck they are probably the easiest cookie you will ever make. And they are so good!

I like to line my baking sheets with parchment paper. It makes for an easy clean up and you don't have to worry about greasing.

Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together. Form 1" inch balls and arrange on baking sheet. I like to flattened mine out with a fork to make the little criss cross design {or whatever it's called}. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown, about 10-12 minutes.
I have had this recipe forever and the recipe says it can make 30 cookies but I can usually only get about 20.
I hope you get a chance to try out this recipe and hope everyone has a great weekend!

Family Fun.

About a month ago when Ryan was on vacation we took the boys to the lake. This was their first trip to the lake. Don't ask why we hadn't taken them sooner. They absolutely loved it. Of course we brought Mattie with us too and she wore herself out. She was exhausted the rest of the night and even the next day. Both boys had no fear of the water. They both just wanted to keep walking until the couldn't touch anymore.

Mattie was the first one in the water.

At first Cameron didn't know what to think.

Easton fell asleep on the way there.

Mattie searching for a rock.

I love this picture. She is waiting for Ryan to throw a stick or something.

Lunchtime

 Digging in the sand. {I am so in love with the boost effect from Picnik}

We can't wait to go back next year when the weather gets warm. I really don't know why we never took them before. It's something cheap to do and the kids couldn't have been happier just digging in the sand and playing in the water.

Wednesday's Wine.

I can't believe I haven't shared more Middle Sister wine with you.  Middle Sister is one of my favorites. I came across these pictures and totally forgot I had taken them and I don't think I have shared this one with you. So here it is. Like I have Mentioned before our Target stores here have a great wine selection and they have almost all the Middle Sister wines. I highly recommend picking up a bottle if you are a wine drinker, you won't be disappointed. And don't you just love the label?!

Such a Slacker.

Oh WOW!!!! I can't believe it's been like 2 weeks since my last post. I am seriously slacking. Even Ryan mentioned something about the blog. I think he secretly likes to read it:)
We have some things going on and I have just been too exhausted and tired to get on the computer. I did catch up on some of my favorite blogs and pay some bills the other day but that's about it.
I have been dealing with 2 crazy ass toddlers, ants, and a slow computer {of course it's only slow when I am trying to blog}. I just hope all of my great followers will still stick around. And sooner or later I will let you in on what's going on.

The boys curled up watching Peppa Pig on our first rainy day of the season.

Hanging out in the backyard before the rain.

Crazy kids!

This little guy will climb on anything.

The pictures were taken on the phone so that's why they're not so great. Hope everyone is having a great week so far.

Little River Inn.

On our little getaway we stayed at a charming hotel called Little River Inn. It's about a 10 minute drive up the road from Mendocino. The hotel has an awesome restaurant and bar and I think the bar is the only one around with an ocean view, very very pretty on a clear day and night.

I love the lobby/check-in area, so cute and charming.

I made Ryan sit for a picture, he wasn't thrilled but at least he smiled;)

They have lots of pretty flowers all over, since we didn't make it to the Botanical Gardens this will have to make do until next time.

Don't you just love the key to the room?!

The Little River Inn has a spa, driving range, and a 9 hole golf course on their property.
We waited until the afternoon to golf in hopes the sun would make an appearance and it did:)

Some cute little deer were hanging out by the 1st hole.

We tried to get a picture but the sun was so bright. This is as good as I could lighten us up. My photoshop skills are not all that great. Some little old man named Dale took our picture. And Ryan ended up playing with him the next day just by coincidence.

A view from the 8th hole {i think}.

We got lucky and both afternoons we were there the sun decided to come out for a bit. So the second day after our round of golf we hung out on the balcony to watch the sunset. Then we headed to the bar for dinner and we got to sit right by the door {the door was open} so we had an amazing view but I left the camera in the room:(

The view from our balcony.

A nice man from TN staying in the room next to us took our picture;) He and his wife were vacationing, they flew into San Francisco and were checking out Northern California.

Next time we want to try and go with our friends. We were suppose to go with them a couple months ago but baseball got in the way of those plans. So let's hope next time it works out and we all are able to go at the same time.
That little trip went by waaaaaayyyyyy too fast. It was a nice little break but I think I am already needing another one and it's only been a couple weeks. We had a great time and are so looking forward to seeing the Little River Inn again real soon.
