Baseball Season has Come to an End.

Another season has come and gone.

Some of you know that Ryan is a baseball coach for high school aged boys. He helps coach the Varsity team at a local high school and also coaches a team in the summer. This past weekend our team lost in playoffs. Of course it would have been great if we advanced onto the state championship this week but I am so glad it's over for now, it's been a long season.

And so the question is....Will Ryan coach next year?! I say he will! He loves it too much. Every year it's the same thing and he says the old same stuff. If it interferes with Cameron's baseball in the Spring I can see him hanging it up.
Both Cameron and Easton have been going to these games since they were just a couple months old and Bentley followed in their foot steps and made his first appearance at just one week old:) The boys love going out on the field after the games raking and running around. The boys might have withdrawls here within the next couple of weeks but I can assure you I won't :)) Here are some fun memories over the season of my crazy boys having fun and running wild.

Bentley's first baseball game.

The boys wanted to ride home from the game in the Jeep with Dad. I said NO but these kids would not let it go and of course Dad said YES. I followed behind panicked the whole way home:) The boys LOVED it!

New favorite iPhone App.

Okay so I am famous for buying books and never opening them to read. The last book I bought was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and that was a couple months ago, I haven't even opened it yet. We saw the movie back in January so I think that had stopped me from reading it, I should have bought second book in the series. My book light is broken courtesy of Easton and that's really the only time I can or feel like reading is at night in bed. During the day there are just too many distractions to soak anything in that I just read.

I have been wanting a kindle for a little while now but Ryan says no way to buying one because I never finish a book. But with all the hype that surrounds all these books and how everyone is talking about how good they are, like.......The Hunger Games and 50 Shades of Grey, it so makes me want to read them. We did see the Hunger Games movie {i actually liked it}, I had to see what the big deal was but I think I will just start off on the second book in that series.

So last week my good friend Beth told about the Kindle app for the iPhone, I had no clue there was a Kindle app. And she also told me about this book she had just got done reading...Wild, I believe she said it was on Oprah's book club list. So I bought the book through Amazon and started reading last week. It's kinda weird reading it on the phone but its working for now. And the book is pretty good. I catch myself reading at night and then realizing it's 10:30pm and Bentley has already been asleep for a couple hours, so I better get my butt to sleep because who knows when he will wake up. Actually the little guy is doing really good for just 2 months old, a lot better than the first two.

Eventually someday I would love to get a Kindle or even the Kindle Fire or even maybe an iPad and then just download the Kindle app on that. One day {hopefully} soon.

Baby Landon.

Ryan and I arrived at the hospital Tuesday night and hung out for a couple of hours and then decided to head home for the night. When we left Jennifer was only dialated 1.5 cm, so all night long I kept checking my phone waiting for that text that he was here.....but NOTHING. At 4 am I checked my phone once again and she was only 4 cm dialted and I thought to myself she would be there all day with no baby but around 6:30ish or so she was almost 10cm and the fun would soon be starting. So Bentley and I rushed to the hospital and got there just in time. After laboring all night and morning the little stinker finally arrived. He gave his poor mama a little workout in the end.

After 4 rounds of IVF this little babe.....Landon William is finally here.
He was born Wednesday, June 11 at 8:43am, 8 lbs 13 ozs and 22 inches long.

Congratulations mommy and daddy! We couldn't be happier for you!!!

So excited to have a new little nephew:))

Baby Shower for Landon.

The day after Bentley's party was my sister-in-law's {Jennifer} baby shower for baby Landon.  It made for a super busy weekend. My mother-in-law and I co-hosted it, although she did most of the work because....well I was pre-occupied with other things:)

Hopefully baby Landon will arrive sometime tonight. Jennifer has an appointment to be induced at 5pm today. I am hoping that since this is not her first child her labor progresses and moves fast. This is my brother-in-law's {Darrin} first child and he is a bundle of nerves right now.  I am hoping he can hold it together...love you Darrin;)

Anyway back to the shower. I ordered the invites through the same Etsy shop where I got Bentley's invites. Jae Marie does such AWESOME work. All of her invites are super cute.

And Yes her name is J. Lo......love you Jen;)

My MIL Donna made these little cards for people to write wishes on for mom and baby.

 Sorry for the dark picture.

Of course there is a diaper cake!

These little glass gems are from Personalized Pebbles....another Etsy shop. I just love Etsy!

And no there is NOT a picture of the mom to be. She absolutely hates her picture being taken and the one picture I had of her from this day was not very good and she would kill me if I posted it.

Good Luck tonight Jen and Darrin! We can't wait to see and meet baby Landon!!! XOXO

Craft Time.....Yarn Wrapped Letter.

A few months ago after we moved I attempted to make one of those yarn wrapped letters and I think it turned out pretty good. I had been seeing them pop up around on Etsy and thought to myself I could totally do that....well easier said than done. It's a little more complicated than that but I figured it out. I guess the level of difficulty depends on the letter being wrapped.

I decided to do the letter "M" for Mink....our last name:) I was finally able to get this wall organization thingys from pottery barn and thought this little letter would go great on the wall. Right now it's chilling on the little shelf.

You will need some yarn and a cardboard letter. You should be able to find both at any craft store.  Oh....and you will need a glue gun:))

Just start wrapping, making sure you wrap tightly.

I kinda did all the horizontal wrapping first.

And this is where it start getting ugly. Looks a lot easier to do. I had to get out the glue gun because the yarn would not stay. This does not need to be neat and look pretty. You will wrap it over a couple more times before it's all done. Just add some glue and wrap around some more.

Once you get the horizontal part done start wrapping vertical.

By using the hot glue it kinda gives the yarn something to grip on to. In some areas I must have wrapped like a million times just to hide the glue.

The hot glue is poking through a little but still looks okay.

Now that it's all wrapped vertical....it's times to wrap up this tricky little spot.

Just start wrapping and because it was hot glued it gives the yarn something to hold on to.

And there you go.....it doesn't need to look perfect. At first I thought it was going to look smooth and only use one layer but as I started I found out it's a little harder than I orignally thought.

Then I made a cute little felt flower with a button as the center.

And this is the wall. I am still looking for some produce baskets. I found some online but they were like 50 bucks for just one and no way I am paying that. I saw online somewhere someone had used outside planter baskets, I think I am going to check those out next time I am Home Depot or Lowe's.

Baby Bentey's Party.

About a month ago we had a little party for Bentley. It was suppose to be a meet and greet but mostly everyone that came had already met him. It is a very busy time of year and there were a few people who were not able to make it. It was a great day with the family and friends that were able to make it. We got a bounce house for the kids and grilled up some hot dogs and hamburgers.

Before I was even pregnant this third time around I knew I would not be having another baby shower. I wanted a sip n see or meet and greet type of party for the baby. There really is no need to have a third baby shower when all my babes are 2 years apart. Before we found out what the sex of the baby was I was dreaming of having an all pink party but on that January day baby boy #3 squashed those pink dreams. I was thinking and thinking of themes that would be perfect....and what do you know...I picked a baseball themed party. I fell in love with this baby shower invite I found on Etsy and that set up the whole theme of things.

Check out Larkspur Street on Etsy. Jae Marie does awesome work.

I ordered the strawberries from Shari's Berries.....aren't they cute?!

These little glass gems I got from Glass Gems by Christine

The flag pennant banner I made and got the idea from Pinterest. Click here for the tutorial. It was super easy to make. I have a ton of fabric so I am going to make a few more and put in both the boys' bedrooms, they will go perfect in both bedrooms. Both have the baseball theme going on.

My sweet Mom found this Pepsi crate for me for only $10. I filled it with some goodies.
