Who are the ‘Blogging Friends’? Until a few months ago, we were a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before. Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper crafting we have created a fun new blog hop!
This month we are sharing retired items. There are many retired items I am sad to see go BUT there are so many new items that are just as awesome and lovely...so to keep this post short and sweet I am only featuring two stamp sets OR else we would be here all day:)
The first one just came out in the Occasions catalog in January. I really haven't got to use it much and was hoping to see it carry over. I still think I will hold on to this one for awhile. It's great for teacher gifts and cards:) I made a super cute desktop calendar for my kids' teachers for Valentines Day using the "apple of my eye" stamp...I shared it with my Facebook Group.
Apple of My Eye
We made these cards at card class a couple months ago.
The second one I am sad to see go is the background stamp Swallowtail. This stamp makes some beautiful cards...I have used this to make very simple cards to very elegant and time consuming cards as well. This card is one of my favorites.
Continue onto Jodi Horsley and see what retired products she's featuring.
Ohh, those "fruit" cards just made me smile! They're so spring-y and bright and leave me longing for summer, Jessica! TFS! xo Crystal
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Jessica! I love how fun and playful the first two are contrasted by that oh so elegant butterfly card. Thanks for sharing so many ideas!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are so amazing! I do not have either of these stamp sets. I really need some sets that are somewhat on the generic size. I love these. Your swallowtail card is lovely! I like how you stamped it on to the background paper.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, Jessica. The first two are so bright and cheery. I chose the Swallowtail stamp as well . . . so sad to see that one retire!
ReplyDeleteLove the Apple of My Eye cards - they are awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, Jessica! I'm with you; I've had the Swallowtail stamp since it first came out, and I think I'll be hanging onto it a while longer! I like how you stamped it on top of the DSP.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I love the fruit ones. I love how happy they are. We need this now with all the things retiring that you wish would stay.
ReplyDeleteOh my! There's the beautiful Swallowtail stamp again..... so sad to see it go. It seems to be a favorite of many! Thanks for sharing your awesome cards Jessica!
