Friday Rewind.

Lot's of birthday party planning going on here this week. Well right now only planning. I haven't gotten much done and the party is in 2 days. I have a long list of errands to run today.

Of course Staples messed up my print order and I do not have time to deal with it now so now I have to print it at home {which if course I discovered our new printer takes a 5th cartridge and it ran out so just add that to my list} Trying to keep this simple but still lots to do in decoration and food preparation. Hoping to get most of the decorations up tonight and the food done tomorrow night. The boys have games tomorrow starting at 8am so we will be at the ballpark all day.
Thankful my mother is coming by after work tonight and tomorrow to help deal with the crazy kids. And Sunday morning she will help with Bentley {thank goodness because he's been the devil lately}.
It will all get done and turn out great just after a little stress and exhaustion.

Okay so the above was typed out this morning like early morning before the kids were up and before we left the house so like about 5am......

So Cameron left his backpack at home this morning. He's never done that before and is always really good about getting his lunch and snack packed in his backpack. Well this morning I think I know why he forgot it....he was too busy carry a stack of Nascar magazines to the car along with his "Grizzley the Great" bear and his blankie. So this totally  jacks up my whole schedule. I had a written plan of attack for today's errands. So now I had to get his backpack to him by 10am because that's when they have recess and its snack time. So we went to the grocery first dropped off the groceries and grabbed the backpack and raced back to the school {as I have mentioned before the school is like 20 minutes away from our house} and about 1 minute from pulling into the school parking lot Easton just out of nowhere BARFS! So I get him cleaned up with baby wipes and luckily we had some extra clothes in the car and it wasn't too much barf BUT enough to start stinking up the car. So we drop off Cameron's backpack and leave to go run errands {getting ready for the party}. And no clue why he threw up. He was fine the rest of the day and hasn't complained about not feeling well.

Running errands with Bentley is not fun or easy at all. In fact I probably look like a hot mess half the time while I am out with the crazy ass kid. He was "OKAY" for about half of what we did today. So then we head home drop off more groceries from our Costco trip and leave again to get Cameron from school. On the way Bentley unbuckles so I have to pull over and buckle him back up and well he didn't like that I tied the receiving blanket around his buckle again and rolled up his window because he was not listening......so he crying, coughing, gagging, and then BARFS! Yes he gagged/barfed whatever the hell you want to call it. So I have to pull over once again and clean up freaking barf. And once again the car starts to smell {after I just scrubbed up Easton's barf}. So that was my day:)

Tomorrow we have 2 games first game at 8am....OH JOY! We will have to leave earlier than a freaking school day.

 Ring pop from baseball.

Easton being a goof ball and pulling his pants up. He did pull them back down just before he went to hit.

Totally burnt out and so over the school year and baseball season. And we have a small project to do that's due next week....can't we just be done already!!!

We had a pretty good thunderstorm here last night. Thunder and lightening and pouring rain for about an hour. The boys loved it and sat on the porch and watched the lightening Bentley was a little scared and it was so cute when he covered his ears and said "I don't like thunder".

Watching the lighting

Why are boys so dirty? And why do their feet stink so BAD? I may need to start making Cameron put his dirty socks in the garage.

One day this week Bentley fell asleep on the way to get Cameron and I only had the wagon....This happens often and it works perfect as a bed.

Cameron came home with these funny mustaches and wanted hi picture taken.

The Stampin' Up! catalog is available to demonstrators and I received mine last Friday. Super excited about some of the new stuff:)

Easton screwing around at bedtime.

On Saturday we got to go out for a couple of drinks. We met up some "old" friends and it was great to see them. Our good friend just opened his own bar so we went to check it out.

Well I think it's about time I get to bed. I hope everyone has an awesome weekend. We will be celebrating Bentley's Third Birthday on Sunday {i love that his party is actually on his birthday}.

Make it Monday.

Today's Make it Monday is a card we made in class on Friday. I CASED {copy and share everything} straight from the Stampin' Up! blog. I love this card so much. I love this paper. And love the layout. This DSP is called Gold Soiree.....absolutely love it!!!! This paper is on the retired list so it won't be coming back with the new annual catalog.

The little strips of paper are not all cut the same height but all are cut the same width at 4 1/4 inches. You can either layer the pieces together before you adhere to the cardstock or start at the top and layer down would probably be the easiest. I cut each piece at a diagonal. The strips of DSP are not meant to be straight at the top. I also used a stamp set that is on the retired list as well. This is a great set and I am sad to see it go.

I am so sad to see crisp cantaloupe go...BUT the new In-Colors are amazing and you will love them all!

Friday Rewind.

This week was pretty quiet around as far as our schedule went...which was real nice for a change.

On Sunday Cameron had a birthday party and I decided to take Easton with us. A few months ago Cameron had another party at the skating ring and really enjoyed it. At first he wanted nothing to do with it but by the end he was having so much FUN. So this time I decided to bring Easton along to see if he would enjoy it and maybe this could be something to do over summer break. Easton did rarely well and seemed to enjoy even though he couldn't really skate or go very far. But he tried and had Fun doing it. And of course Cameron had a blast with all his friends BUT he was getting pouting towards the end because he was tired of falling down....LOL.

Then on Monday both kiddos had baseball games and that was pretty much it for the week as far as activities and running around. Cameron's baseball coach gave the boys off from practice the rest of the week {we were doing the happy dance}.

It seems all three boys are suffering from allergies....yes again.  All are coughing, congested, and sneezing. The last few days Bentley has gotten worse with the big fat green boogers and snot trail from his nose to his cheek. I am just hoping they don't end up with eat infections again.

The last couple weeks Bentley has been a BIG FAT PAIN in the ASS! His little temper and attitude have gotten so bad BUT that little turd is so stinking cute. I probably have mentioned this already BUT he just wonders around looking for crap to get into and destroy {he destroys everything}! I might as well just follow him around and pick up after him but really who has time for that?!

Oh how nice of you to make a pretty purple pattern all over the damn window seal. It stained and now I have to paint it....awesome. Add it to my to-do list.

He loves his whip sticks from Dutch Brothers! And yes we still have to tie his carseat with a blanket. The little shit still unbuckles!

I had card class this morning instead of Sunday since it's Mother's Day on Sunday. I usually have card class the second Sunday of the month.

Another small happening this week is Ryan and I celebrated out 9th wedding anniversary. Well I guess we really didn't celebrate too much. I took the night off from going to Cameron's monthly parent meeting {it was the last one of the year} that's about it and enjoyed my nightly wine. Nothing exciting happening when you 3 crazy kids. We are going out tomorrow night for little bit without the crazies so I guess we can call that a date. I guess anything really without the kids is considered a date in my book. Heck even a night of shopping {which we have done before} is a date! We have been together since we were 16 years old~ yes we are High School Sweethearts:) We were together for 10 years before we got married....next year a big one I guess...10 years married and 20 years together....and we are treating ourselves to a nice grand vacation{without the crazies}!

Friday Rewind.

Well I survived last weeks 2 night 3 day field trip with a bunch of First and Seconder graders. I can't believe it's already been a week since we got back and I have not posted in almost 2 weeks. The field trip was CRAZY but I guess you can say they are also a lot FUN. All the kids run wild with each other and the days schedule are jam packed with different activities. And by the end of the third we were all ready to get home. I am sure I will be there next year with Cameron's Second grade class since this is a First and Second grade field trip.....AND I probably will be there for the next 5 years considering Easton and Bentley will be coming through First and second grade as well.

This is pretty much every week...LOL

Much of the same old stuff going on around here. Baseball and more baseball. It's just about over with....only about 2-3 weeks left. School is in the home stretch as well. And the month of May is a busy one for us. Baseball, birthday parties, school activities!

Bentleys's birthday party is in 2 weeks, it always sneaks up on me. I was thinking I still had 3 weeks left...NO 2 weeks from Sunday. Lots to do to get ready so I am not stressing at the last minute {but we all know that won't happen...always rushing around last minute}. There's never enough time in the day to get crap done. Even when I try and plan out my day and what I want to get done...it never happens according to plan....EVER!!! And a lot probably has to do with the CRAZY little boy who is about turn 3!!!! That boy is nuts! Crazy! WILD! And into everything! Lately he has been a pain in the butt...more so lately than normal. He just looks around the house to see what he can mess up and how he can torture Cameron and Easton. I clean up his mess and he makes a new mess....kinda impossible to get anything done around here. I might as well just follow him around all day right behind him and pick everything he messes up.

The boys finally got to try out the slushy maker my mom got them for Easter. It actually is pretty cool. You put any kind of juice you want and squish it for a minute or less.

I finally got some vacation pictures uploaded and edited to the computer. Hopefully You all will be seeing some vacation post soon. I am learning to work with Lightroom and Photoshop. So far it's not going well. I cannot remember it all...so much to remember.

We actually got a little rain last weekend.

This is what Easton and Bentley were doing while we were waiting for the field to get ready at Cameron's 8am game last Saturday. I was not happy with standing around for an hour waiting for the game to start but OH well...and yes Bentley had soaking wet feet for about 2 hours until the game was over.

Stampin' Up! Demonstrators were able to view the new annual catalog yesterday. And I am so excited about it!!! Lots of awesome new products! I am excited to get some new Project Life card kits and get more memory keeping done. I am debating whether or not to do a craft fair in June. The last 3 I did didn't have much foot traffic and I really didn't get any new business but this seems maybe to be bigger and the price is more. A little more than I would like to spend for my itty bitty business but thinking it may be worth a try.

Friday Rewind {on Saturday}

I was on a 3 day long field trip this past week with oh about 100 or so first and second graders....need I say no more!!!!!

P.S. I am very fortunate to be able to go on these field trips and really truly enjoy going:) but that doesn't mean it's not crazy.

Make it Monday.

The card I am sharing with you today was a card we made at last weekends card class. I love this color combo and I am so sad to see these colors retiring. Actually tomorrow the Retired List comes out and more than likely anything with these colors are sure to sell-out and  will no longer will be available. Once Stampin' Up! announces the Last Chance List many items often start to sell-out very quickly. Some items are discounted up to 50% off. The retiring colors are the 2013-2015 In-Colors. I think I actually need some Pistachio Pudding card stock to go with my Little Moments Project Life Card kit, so I can finish up some baby pages. Looks like I better put in an order ASAP in the morning...good thing I am up early and finger crossed it doesn't sell out before then.

Strawberry Slush~Baked Brown Sugar~Pistachio Pudding~Crisp Cantaloupe~Coastal Cabana

I originally chose this color combo because I was wanting to use up some Designer Series Paper before it retired but I ended up not using that much at all. Just a little 1 inch strip. I love this Gold Soiree Designer Series Paper...so pretty!!! I might have to use some for next months class as well and I think I may have an idea for it:)

This card is very simple and easy to duplicate or change up with the items and supplies you have on hand.

Friday Rewind.

There's about a little less than 2 month less of the school year.....and I cannot wait. I can wait for all the screaming and fighting that will be happening probably the first fill day they are out of school BUT cannot wait to just have a little calmness around here. Like many families we have been busy with baseball the last couple months and everyone is getting pretty tired.

Ryan and I are tired of all the driving. Somedays I am driving back and forth 3 times. First to drop off Cameron, second to pick him up and third either practice or games for him or Easton. I have only taken Cameron to practice twice. Ryan is usually the one who takes him and I stay home and cook dinner. Yes we did choose to put him in an open school and not our home so we expected this BUT UGH!!! Oh and not to mention Cameron has practice 3 times a week plus 2 games a week. I can tell he's getting a little tired as well. Don't get me started on the practice schedule.
Okay enough of that complaining and venting crap:)

Make it Monday.

I finally got a traditional scrapbook page completed! It's paired up with a project life style page on the  other side. I am going to keep doing the traditional pages here and there mixed in with the project life style. This picture was the perfect for a single page to pair next to a project life page. This is Easton's birth announcement. Now I didn't permanently adhere this picture to the cardstock. This picture I have had on our refrigerator since I got them made after Easton was born. I have all 3 of the boys' birth announcements on the fridge. Don't ask me why I just do BUT I couldn't find all those extras of Easton's so this one is just one there temporary for now. There's are a few spots and scratches on the photo.

Over the last month or so I have really been trying to do a little bit here and there and doing this one page has got me excited and wanting to do more. The boys are curious and come over to my little craft desk and ask...."Who is that?", "Where are my baby pictures?", and so on. They LOVE to look at the pictures and ask questions about them. I am very happy with the way this came out since it's my first "traditional" page in quite sometime.

Friday Rewind.

Well I missed last Friday's rewind. Last week was a busy week with baseball and dealing with a sick kid. Easton caught a 24 hour virus or something. He was running a fever and barfed a few times. Nothing too bad but he only went to school one day so I was home with him Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday he seemed okay but was still complaining of a tummy ache so I decided to just keep him home since he was doubled over in pain.
Then on Friday Bentley started coughing and running a fever. The fever only lasted a couple of days but then I noticed some drainage coming from his ear and sure enough he had an ear infection. The doctor seems to think it's from allergies and I am beginning to think more and more these days the kids have allergies. The allergies here are super bad right now. I just hope B doesn't end up with another ear infection.

This was after he got home from Grandma's house when I noticed the ear drainage.

This was in between Easton and Cameron's game. We were getting a snack from the snack bar and he couldn't stay away from the dirt for 5 minutes. A snot dirt filled face.

Passed out at baseball. He was very calm and mellow and I could tell he wasn't feeling too good...Oh and we were out at the ball park for hours:)

Even after we packed up and a moved him to the wagon he still didn't wake up.

So the highlight of the past week is gonna have to be going to see Garth Brooks! I am still on a Garth high. I cannot believe after all these years he went on tour. And we had super good seats. We had floor seats, now in the past my floor seats were kinda in the back so once everyone stood up it was so hard to see {well and I was in like 6th grade} but these were AWESOME! We were so close! It was so freaking awesome! He was here in Sacramento for 6 shows and one night he did 2 shows!
I have been a Garth fan since forever. I have every CD, every box set {yes even all the box sets that have different covers but all the same CDs} and I have seen him now 3 times in concert. I can remember as a teenager waiting in line for tickets {back when you stood in line for hours} and show #4 {i think it was} sold out like 5 people in front of us. We were waiting and waiting to see if they were going to announce another show and YEP he did!!! I saw Garth as a kid, as a teenager {with Ryan 17 years ago} and now as an adult! He seriously puts on the best show EVER! You don't even have to be a country music fan and you will still love it. I just hope he comes back in a couple more years because I want to see him again. What we should have done was kept our extra set of tickets for Saturdays show instead of selling them.....oh well...next time we will just have to try and go to a couple shows.
My SIL Jen was the DD for some of her friends so she scored a FREE ticket and was sitting a couple rows in front of us.

Ryan's eyes are shut:( I didn't notice it until we were already settled back down in out seats patiently waiting.

And Finally he takes the stage!!!!

Yeah I suck at taking selfies.

Thank goodness for cell phones. We got lots of pictures and videos.

Trisha Yearwood came out and sang a couple songs and Garth played guitar while she preformed...pretty cool!

A major hurdle I tackled this week was taking Cameron to the dentist. He has needed some treatment done for like ever but I have been dreading taking him. Well I finally did it and of course it was on a day when Ryan was working so I had to take him by myself. H needed a cavity filled and some sealants. I could tell he was super nervous but he did great. He started to get a little wiggly towards the but by that time it had almost been an hour since he had been laying down. The dentist and the assistants are awesome. It's a pediatric dental office so everything is kid friendly and the staff knows what to say to the kids to make them feel a little better. So glad it's over with.

This week has been so nice. A nice little break from school and baseball and all the running around that goes with it. The boys stayed the night with my mom and grandma earlier in the week so that was nice and broke up the week some. Cameron has been asking and asking to go over to Nino's house {that's what the kids call my grandma} since he's in school he doesn't get to over there much these days. So the boys and cousin Autumn stayed the night over there and of course they had a blast. A little break is always nice.
But on Monday it all starts up again until the end of the school year. Lots of things going on between now and then that will surely require me to drink lots of wine.

Happy Easter!!!
