Wednesday's Wine....{Wedding}.

One day I hope to open this bottle of wine but I highly doubt we ever will. Ryan and I got married at a winery {which I have just learned it has been sold and renamed:(} and we received this bottle as a gift from them.

We have this bottle displayed on our mantle beside a wedding picture. I absolutely loved our wedding and I am very sad that the winery has a new name, I wanted to have a huge anniversary party there. Well hopefully the new owners stay open awhile and I can have that huge party someday
Sogno had some great wines. We have been talking about going back up there to stock up the wine supply. So now I guess we will have to go back and find some new favorites.

Ok now I am going to bore you with some of my favorite wedding pictures.

Hope you enjoyed and hopefully you weren't too bored. I just love looking at wedding pictures. I just LOVE weddings period. Someone I know needs to get married real soon but I am not going to mention any names.....you know who you are;)

Summer Fun.

I am constantly trying to find little activities to do with the boys. Things that will appeal to both of them, so they are not fighting over anything. I am always going to the Crayola isle trying to find something fun. So a few weeks ago I picked up the Sidewalk Paint. Cameron was excited to get home and try it out. Although he had to wait until Easton was done napping which absolutely tortured him.

Both the boys LOVED it! It didn't take long for the paint to run out and I don't think you can just buy the paint by itself. I have since then bought another one so now we have 2 paint trays, 2 brushes, and 2 rollers {perfect so they can't fight over it} now if they would just sell the paint. I will be getting another one this week because Cameron liked it so much and keeps asking to paint outside. I would say the paint last about an hour or so, not very long. It cost about $10 but so worth it. Anytime anything keeps them occupied for a short period of time I think it's worth it.

At least we have a nice shaded area on the side of the house. This is the only shade we have in the backyard in the afternoon so it's perfect for these type of things.

It washes off everything....clothes and cement very easily.

Washing off in the little pool.

Maybe this week we will try the Sidewalk Spray Paint;) That could be interesting.

Blog Award.

Last week I received The Versatile Blogger award from Meggie of Shoestring Tightrope. I was surprised that anyone would award me any type of blogging award. I am still amazed that I get new followers here and there from time to time. I am not too confident in my blog just yet but this little award has helped....thank you so much Meggie;)  Please check out Meggie's blog when you get a chance.

Versatile Blogger Award

Here’s how the award works:

After accepting the Versatile Blogger Award, the blogger must:

1. Thank the person who gave the award and link back to them in your post.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Pass this award along to 15 recently discovered blogs.

Seven Things About Me:

1. I am a mom to two crazy toddler boys.
2. I am married to my highschool sweetheart.
3. I love anything baseball.
4. My favorite flower is the Gerbera Daisy.
5. I LOVE coffee and wine.
6. I always wanted to be a police officer, it was my dream job, but now that I am a mom I wouldn't even think of making that a career now. I think of the "what ifs" and hate to think of my kids growing up without me.
7. I one day hope to finish up my Bachelor's degree....my old goal used to be 30 but now that I am 30 and still no degree I might have to change it to 40.....YIKES!

15 newly discovered blogs I found that I’m passing this award on to:
{Some of you might have already received this award and I am totally cheating here. My list is going to have to stop at 10....sorry;(, I have already been at this post since yesterday morning, now hopefully I can go back and comment on these blogs with the link before Easton starts playing with his poppy diaper and before Cameron starts beating the little guy}

iphone.

Last week we finally got new cell phones.....THANK GOODNESS!!!! Of course we went with the iphone since Verizon finally carries them now. These phones are so cool and I now know why everyone that has one loves it. We are still learning how to use it. So if anyone has any tips or cool apps you know of please let me know. We just figured out how to close down apps the other day {i think that's why my battery was draining so quickly} I had like every app open......whoops.
Of course I had to get the pink cover.....I am on a pink thing lately {i used to hate the color pink}.

I am not going to go into every reason why I love my new phone so much but I am going to tell you the apps I am currently obsessed with at the moment. I LOVE Instagram, craftgawker, foodgawker, and the MLB app {you can set it to your favorite team so when you open it the current scoreboard is up....of course mine set for the Giants}. I would post the follow button for Instagram  but I don't like the way it looks and I have no idea how to change it, it's kinda funny looking and small...haha.

Earlier this week I received the giveaway prizes I won in the Bubby&Bean giveaway a couple weeks ago. Of course I took the pictures with the new phone and used Instagram.

I think this is my favorite print from Bubby & Bean.

"Coming Home" from Studio M.M.E. Illustrations. Now I need to find a place to hang it;)

This is the necklace from Little White Chapel. It's so pretty....I just love it. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet {it's super hard to wear any jewelry around kids, they pull on everything}. There are so many items I absolutely love from Little White Chapel. Hopefully I will be able to treat myself to a couple of my favorites soon.

I love how this picture turned out in Instagram. It's hanging from some silk flowers in a ceramic vase we have in our bedroom {it's current location so it doesn't get destroyed by the boys}.

So there you have it....We finally got new phones and I can talk longer than one minute without the darn thing shutting off and they take waaayyyyy better pictures and video than the Blackberry.  And of course I am hearing rumors that an iphone 5 is coming out in September.....just our luck!

Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Etsy Shop Make-Over.....Finally!

We finally are starting to have an orderly and clean look over at our Etsy shop....Diaper Cake Dazzle. For months now we have just had a blurred picture of a diaper cake and now we are looking a little more professional. We even recently ordered some business cards {can't wait to see them!}.

Sara from Sara Rubendall Design Studio has some great pre-made shop set-ups. She is wonderful to work with and really has some awesome designs. I love her look. I love how she combines modern and colorful designs together without them being too bright and/or over the top. She can also pretty much make anything to match your shop set-up. If your looking for a new shop look and aren't design graphic friendly {like me} you should check out her shop.
Sara also has a blog where she offers coupons and deals....click here to check out her blog.

So what do you think?!

The Fair.

A couple weeks ago we took the kiddos to the State Fair {more like 3 weeks ago}. Every year we go with our good friends {surprisingly they still like hang out with us and our two crazies}, it's one of our many "traditions" that we do with them. I know they love the boys and just can't get enough of them.
I love going just to have a BIG FAT corn dog, beer {and it was a huge Sierra Nevada, the lady, poured the wrong size and somehow I managed to finish it all} and some kettle corn.
And I love seeing the boys' reactions to everything. They were in awe when we first got there, some serious people watching was going on and it started the minute we rolled through the gates.

{walking towards the gate.....we had to park like a mile away}

Cameron's favorite part of the fair would have to be getting a Monster Truck ride in Airborne Ranger and watching the motorbikes. He started asking about them the minute we got there and didn't stop asking or talking about them until he passed out in the stroller on the way back to the car at the end of the night. He was smiling from ear to ear when the motorbikes started their show. He was so excited. I love seeing him get so happy and excited about something, it's so cute. After the riders were all done doing their jumps and flips they drove around and gave hi-fives to the people standing around the fence watching. Cameron got a couple hi-fives and one guy missed so he drove back around and stopped and gave him a "pound" {or fist bump....we call it a pound}. He thought that was so cool.

After the motorbikes it was on to the Monster Truck ride. They have a Monster Truck that gives rides. It has seats in the back and drives around in circles for a few minutes. Ryan and Jerry {that's our friend} went with Cameron. The driver was asking the kids what their favorite Monster Truck was and Cameron was the only one who responded....he said, "Ironman". He loved it and thought it was super cool. He did say he got a little scared when he turned the corner but I was proud he didn't freak out or cry because that's what he usually does.

{Cameron and Dad just after the ride}

At the end of the night they have fireworks. On our way back to the car we found a good place to stop and watch, by this time poor Cameron was already passed out and missed it. We tried so hard to wake him up but he was OUT. After the fireworks we walked back by the Monster Truck because he wanted to see it one more time and he wouldn't wake up for that either. He was exhausted and nothing was going to wake him up.

{This is Cameron passed out just before the fireworks. Easton was going crazy trying to get out}

The motorbikes and Monster Trucks were the highlight of the night. Other than that we didn't do much else. Walked around the exhibits in the nice cool air conditioned buildings. It was only suppose to be like in the high 80's but on the asphalt it felt like 100. We watched a little horse show and took the kids to see some big bug exhibit {didn't get any pictures of that....way too many people}.

{And the Family picture, inside the exhibits where it was cool. I believe this was one the county exhibits}

We are already looking forward to next year. Cameron is already asking to go see the Motorbikes and Monster truck again. Monster Jam comes every January so we will take both the boys to that. It was a great day spent with great friends eating super yummy food.

I WON!

Friday morning I found out I won the Bubby & Bean giveaway. I was so excited! It made my weekend. Melissa with Bubby & Bean made the announcement Wednesday {I think} but I hadn't been on computer much nor had time to read any blogs until Friday morning. So I at the end of her post Friday there was a message for me.........p.s. If your name is Jessica you may be the winner of the giveaway {something like that}. I had to read it twice, I was in shock. It may not be a big deal to some people but I was so thrilled and so freaking excited. I never win anything, it really does payoff to enter giveaways.
Bubby & Bean is one of my most favorite blogs. Melissa ALWAYS has very inspirational post and awesome pictures. And if your a dog lover or even an animal lover you will fall in love with her sweet Bubby. I don't know Melissa personally but she seems like that kind of girl who you WANT to be friends with and I am sure her friends just absolutely love her.

What did I win?! I won 5 awesome prizes. Click here to find out. I can't wait to get my first prize in the mail.

One of the prizes was a gift certificate to Melissa's Etsy shop.....Bubby & Bean

Iced Coffee.

I am so going to need one of these this afternoon. This is something new I have been doing with my leftover morning coffee. I got the idea from a good friend and I am not sure why I never thought of it sooner. I pour my last cup coffee  into my cup and add creamer, then around noon or so I pour it into a chilled glassed filled with ice and there it is......my very own iced coffee.

Please don't mention it....I know....the Giants have been sucking it up.

The reason I am going to need of these is the little dude was up at 2:15am screaming and crying and every time I left his room he would scream and cry some more. Nothing was working. So I slept in the recliner with him for a couple hours. And I woke up with a slamming headache. Not to mention the last couple mornings I have stayed up with Ryan after he left for work....so that's 3:30am and then still going to bed around 10 or 11. Getting up that early is so nice. The house is so peaceful and quiet. I can actually enjoy a cup of coffee!

Saturday Sweetness + Random Notes.

I love when I see super yummy pictures of food, especially sweet food. For example like these pictures.......

Ok....I should have uploaded the picture I took the next day after it was in the freezer for a whole day, it wasn't quite rock solid and kinda fell apart but still hecka good.

This is one of the many reason's I love blogs. I saw this recipe over at {So Wonderful, So Marvelous}.....one of my most favorite blogs. I knew I just had to try it out. For the recipe check out.....Ice Cream Sandwich Cakes Three Ways.

Random Notes

I won my first giveaway from Bubby & Bean. This just made my day! I was so excited this morning when I found out, you'll have to wait a few days to find out more....hehehe.

Ok.....so yesterday morning I am at the gym on the treadmill and my gosh damn phone dies. Ryan and I both have Blackberries {biggest piece of crap phones ever} and for the last month or so they just shut off randomly. They can be fully charged and you won't even be able to complete a 2 minute phone call without it shutting off.  You can try to email, get on the Internet, or try and Facebook it and the stupid thing shuts off. The reason I was so annoyed is because I leave my two boys with my 75 year old Grandmother for an hour while I work out and the whole time I was there I was worrying about them and if she needed me for anything, of course they were fine but what if something happened and she needed me?! She is in good health and can obviously handle them for a short period or I wouldn't leave them with her.

The good news is we can upgrade in one week......WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!! We so can't wait to get rid of those phones, looks like the boys will be getting some new toys;)

Within the next few days Diaper Cake Dazzle will be getting a little makeover. Going to freshen up the shop and give it a new look.....thanks to Sara at Sara Rubendall Design Studio.

AND POTTY TRAINING TOTALLY SUCKS! It's still going and we are still in the training mode. He does good for a few days then everything goes down hill for a day then back to doing good then bad. And going #2.....well that's going to take more work. He was doing good with that also for awhile.....OH THE JOYS OF PARENTHOOD!

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Does anyone have any HOT plans?!
I have a diaper cake order to finish up then on Sunday we have a 1st birthday party to attend.......Oh and I am hoping to get out to the driving range to hit some golf balls {practice makes perfect....right?}.

Guy Fieri's Tri-Tip Roast.

So recently on one of my monthly trips to Costco I picked up some new Tri-Tip that we haven't tried before. Who doesn't love Guy Fieri from the Cooking channels Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives {love that show}?!

Ryan and I both loved it and will get it again for sure. I like my meat well done and was pretty proud of myself that I didn't over cook it, it was still juicy and not dry at all {Ryan usually grills the meat but he was taking a cat nap so I was in charge}. I love the pre-marinated meat. It's always so tasty, its also so easy to pick it up that night for dinner without trying to rush and marinate it.
There was also another kind that was seasoned with Rosemary and something something, maybe lemon....can't remember but I am sure it's just as good.

Keep on Dreaming.......

Just one of the two things I would like to have sometime soon......

Who wouldn't want a new camera?! The point and shoot camera we have is so outdated. I want something I can take some really good pictures with. I try to convince Ryan we NEED this so we can cherish family memories with good pictures. Many times I try and take pictures with the point and shoot and they turn out blurry, dark. and just not good. He bought me a Canon Rebel 35mm about 5 years ago for my birthday. I didn't know about the DSLR then or I would have gotten one. And who uses film anymore?! You can delete and teach yourself how to take great pictures with a DSLR. I can think of a million reasons why I want NEED this camera, but I won't bore you with that.

I want one so badly. Keep on dreaming.......maybe an early Christmas present;)
